Tanjah – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman offered his condolences to the French President Francois Hollande for the terrorist truck incident in Nice, France that killed at least 80 citizens during Bastille Day. During the phone call between the King and the President on Monday, the King denounced the “criminal act.”

The King said Saudi Arabia stands firm with France and the international community on the rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and the importance of international efforts to confront and eliminate it.

For his part, President Hollande thanked King Salman for his noble wishes and confirmed that France appreciates Saudi Arabia’s in fighting terrorism that struck several Saudi cities.

Hollande stressed that the cooperation between the two countries is important for ending terrorism.

Meanwhile, Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed Abdulaziz Kattan announced on the embassy’s official twitter account that all Saudi students in Egypt will receive a monthly allowance. The ambassador said that this was decided following the King’s visit to Egypt during April.
