Riyadh-The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Salam Palace on Tuesday President of Council of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Dr. Olumuyiwa Benard Aliu currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

At the outset of the reception, President of the Council of the Organization expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the Kingdom’s provision of financial support of one million dollars for the program of ICAO to assist states that are unable to apply the international rules and recommendations of aviation safety and related programs.

Then, the most prominent international efforts of ICAO and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Organization in the field of civil aviation were reviewed.

The audience was attended by Minister of State and Cabinet Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of Transport and Acting Chief of the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) Sulaiman Bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Authority’s Assistant President for Safety Captain Abdulhakim bin Mohammed Al-Badr and ICAO Middle East Regional Director Mohamed Rahma.
