Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques receives Chairman of Pakistan Joint Chiefs of Staff (SPA)


Jeddah – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received at al-Salam Palace in Jeddah the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, General Zubair Mahmood Hayat.

During the meeting, they reviewed fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples and latest developments in the region, especially the cooperation between the countries of Islamic military alliance to fight terrorism, stated Saudi Press Agency.

The meeting was attended by Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz al-Assaf and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nizar bin Obaid Madani.

Also, King Slaman received a message from President Raul Castro of the Republic of Cuba, which was delivered by Cuban Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Planning Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz at al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, according to SPA.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of developing cooperation between the two countries in economic fields.

The audience was attended by Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz al-Assaf, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nizar bin Obaid Madani and Cuban Ambassador to the Kingdom Jose Enrique Rodriguez.
