Riyadh-Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will patronize on Wednesday the opening ceremony of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture “Janadriyah 31” and the annual camel race that are organized by the Ministry of National Guard.

King Salman sent an invitation to Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said of Oman to attend the inauguration ceremony.

The invitation letter was delivered to Sayyid Assad Bin Tariq al-Saeed, on behalf of the Sultan of Oman, by Eid Bin Mohammed al-Thaqafi, Saudi Ambassador to Oman.

For his part, Minister of National Guard and President of the Supreme Committee of the festival Prince Mutaib bin Abdullah extended his gratitude for the King for patronizing the annual event.

Meanwhile, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques received at al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday Serbian Deputy Premier Rasim Ljajic, Minister of Trade and Tourism and Communications and Chairman of the Serbian economic delegation and Deputy Premier of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirko Markovic, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations and Chairman of the Bosnian economic delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed existing relations between Saudi Arabia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina along with prospects of promoting and bolstering bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade and economic fields.

The meeting was attended by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Dr. Musaed al-Aiban, Dr. Ibrahim al-Assaf, Dr. Adel al-Turaifi, Dr. Nizar Madani and Saudi Ambassador to Bosnia, Herzegovina and Serbia Hani Momina in addition to other officials from the two countries.

Earlier on Monday, King Salman also received Ambassador of Spain to the Saudi Arabia Joaquin Perez, who bid farewell to the King on the occasion of the end of his tenure as his country’s ambassador to Riyadh.

The reception was attended by Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Dr. Musaed Mohammed al-Aiban; Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Dr. Ibrahim Abdulaziz al-Assaf; Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel Zaid al-Turaifi and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar Obaid Madani.

Furthermore, under the patronage of King Salman, the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection will organize in Jeddah, between April 3 and 5, 2017, the 6th GCC International Forum and Exhibition on Environment and Sustainable Development under the theme ‘Environmental Technology Transfer.’
