Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz is overseeing the services and facilities provided to pilgrims to perform their duty easily and safely. He is also supervising the public transportation plan of pilgrims in Al Mashaer Al Moqadasa.

On Saturday, King Salman is expected to sponsor the annual ceremony in the Royal Court in Mina to celebrate the state leaders and Islamic figures who came to perform Hajj this year. Friday morning, the pilgrims and the Islamic world will fete Eid Al-Adha.

Relevant government and private parties are competing to provide the best services for the guests of Allah, especially in the health sector.

The Ministry of Health is providing its medical and health services this year though thousands of medics and nurses. The Saudi Red Crescent is also offering its emergency services via thousands of people mobilized to serve the pilgrims.

Furthermore, the Presidency of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques announced that the first phase of its plan for this hajj season has succeeded. Its head, Abdulrahman al-Sudais, said the technical, engineering, preaching, scientific and guiding cadres of the presidency have contributed to this success.

The total number of pilgrims who have reached Madinah to perform Hajj this season reached 867,945, according to daily statistics by National Pilgrim-Guides Foundation.
