Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques receives President of Venezuela (SPA)


Riyadh – The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, met on Sunday with the President of the Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, who is on an official visit to Saudi Arabia.

Discussions between the two officials focused on bilateral cooperation and latest international developments, including the means to restore stability of world oil markets.

The meeting was attended by the Governor of Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Prince Dr. Mansur bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and Advisor to the King, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Dr. Mussaed Al-Ayban, Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet and Acting Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Issam bin Saied, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Khalid Al-Faleh, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar Madani and the Saudi Ambassador to Venezuela Jamal Ibrahim Nassef.

The meeting was also attended by the Venezuelan accompanying delegation, which comprised top level officials, including the minister of foreign affairs, the minister of energy and petrol and other ministers, in addition to the Venezuelan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

Also on Sunday, King Salman met with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two officials touched on bilateral relations and means to promote cooperation in various fields.
