King Salman Lauds Crown Prince for Hajj’s Success | ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive 2005 -2017

Makkah, Jeddah-Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud confirmed that his country holds a great responsibility and is honored to serve the two holy mosques and the pilgrims, this is why, he said, it has utilized all its potentials and financial capabilities to serve them.

King Salman said that all the expanding projects and works done for the holy sites come for serving pilgrims.

King Salman’s confirmations came within a cable of thanks he sent to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Chairman of Supreme Hajj Committee on the successful completion of Hajj season 2016, and he congratulated him on Eid al-Adha.

In this cable, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques thanked Allah Almighty for the bounty and generosity successful of Pilgrimage season this year, confirming the Kingdom’s honor for hosting the pilgrimage season and serve of pilgrims and visitors.

King Salman lauded all the efforts put by the Saudi Crown Prince, being the Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, all the officials, government services’ employees and those working in civil and military sectors, confirming that these efforts are appreciated.

For his part, Prince Mohammed bin Nayef has earlier congratulated the King on the behalf of the members of the committee and the name of princes and employees in the Ministry of Interior, headed by security men and employees working in civil and military sectors who participated in this year’s Hajj, for the success of Hajj season and on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

On the other hand, Prince Mohammed bin Nayef confirmed that his country succeeded in managing and organizing pilgrimage during all its stages and it was able to prove rivals were wrong in all their accusations, describing their mission as hard.

He said, while addressing leaders and managers in military and security sectors and all those who participated in this year’s Hajj season: “We were put in challenging regional circumstances, and we were threatened by many. Thanks God you all worked calmly and professionally.”

He added: “The result is an honor for all of us.”

He also pointed out the pride of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of this title, saying that the Monarch was very pleased as the semi-final stage of Hajj has drawn to an end.
