Riyadh- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received Director General of International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde at Al-Yamamah Palace on Wednesday.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the Kingdom and the International Monetary Fund in addition to economic developments at the regional and international levels.
King Salman wished the IMF chief and the finance ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) success in their joint meetings.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Musaed al-Aiban, minister of state and cabinet’s member; Dr. Ibrahim al-Assaf, minister of finance; Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, minister of state, Cabinet’s member and acting minister of culture and information; Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani, minister of state for foreign affairs; Dr. Ahmed al-Khulaifi, governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency and Dr. Hisham al-Aqeel, executive director of the Saudi mission to the International Monetary Fund.
King Salman received also President of the General Auditing Bureau Dr. Hussam al-Anqari, Secretary General of the GCC Dr. Abdullatif al-Zayani and presidents of the auditing bureaus in GCC in the occasion of their current meeting in Riyadh.
