Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives Abu Dhabi Crown Prince (SPA)


Jeddah- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received on Friday Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Emirates Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, who is currently visiting the Kingdom.

At the onset of the reception, the crown prince conveyed congratulations sent by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on the advent of Ramadan, Islam’s holy month of fasting.

The King for his part, sent congratulations to the president.

King Salman and the visiting crown prince discussed bilateral relations and ways to bolster ties the two Gulf States share, in addition reviewed various regional as well as world issues of mutual interest.

The crown prince and the accompanying delegation broke the fast of Ramadan at an Iftar banquet hosted by King Salman.

The royal audience was attended by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the King and Governor of Makkah Region, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, various royal and non-royal princes, in addition to the top level delegation accompanying the heir apparent of Abu Dhabi.
