Manama- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had received King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
King Hamad stated that Saudi Arabia is the region’s strategic depth and chief support source, which attends all regional causes.
In his statement to the Bahraini news agency BNA, King Hamad lauded the vital role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the guidance of King Salaman, especially the efforts being spent on improving Gulf, Arab and Muslim common cooperation.
King Hamad pointed out that the improvement of collaboration would help reinforce regional and international peace and security, which is won over by the effective implementation of sensible proposals, piercing foresight and successful solutions.
Furthermore, King Hamad reiterated the firm historic relations shared between the two brotherly countries, which he referred to being based on strong foundations that are propelling them towards a stronger and more fruitful cooperation on all levels and undertaking all spheres.
King Hamad also highlighted that deliberations and efforts are persistently being spent to support initiatives on building a safer and more prosperous future which touch all regional nations.
Cooperation will conquer all challenges, defeat all obstacles and triumph over all threats; especially those of violence, extremism and terrorism. Cooperative work will defeat terrorism in all its forms, root out its causes and overcome its aftermath.
During the visit, both Kings reviewed relations shared between the two countries and exchanged their views on a number of topics of common interest.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also had held a dinner banquet in honor of King Hamad and his accompanying delegation, SPA reported.
The reception and banquet were attended by a number of Princes and senior officials.
The accompanying delegation to the King of Bahrain included Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, Sheikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Survey and Land Registration Authority, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Sheikh Hamoud bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a number of officials.
