Doha – Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received at the Emiri Diwan in Qatari capital, Doha, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed al-Jubeir and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their visit to the country.

At the outset of the meeting, FM Jubeir conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, and Deputy Crown Prince, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and their best wishes to the Emir of good health and to the people of Qatar continued progress prosperity.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments at regional and international arena. They also reviewed the fraternal ties between the two countries and ways of enhancing them.

Emir of Qatar entrusted Jubeir to convey his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, and the Deputy Crown Prince and his wishes to them of good health, and to the brotherly Saudi people further progress and development.

Later, FM Jubeir delivered a speech at the Annual Meeting of Heads of Diplomatic, Consular and Representative Missions in Qatar following an invitation of Qatari FM Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

During the meeting, Saudi FM spoke about the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and its efforts in enhancing the countries’ solidarity and cooperation in all fields. He also addressed a number of regional and international issues and their developments.
