The Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawki Allam strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place in Qatif governorate in Saudi Arabia, stressing that terrorism has become a threat to everyone, which necessitates joining forces and working together at all levels to confront this danger.

The attack, whick took place in the Al-Musawara neighborhood of Qatif Municipality, resulted in the death of Cpl. Abdullah Treiki Al-Turki and injury of eight others, the Saudi Interior Ministry said, cited by the official SPA news agency.

Allam, in a statement, said that terrorist groups seek to spread havoc and destruction everywhere, as they strike here and there to disseminate misguided ideas and suspicious ideologies, calling for the need to preserve Arab solidarity in the fight against these groups and their supporters, and to confront them with all force.

Mufti of Egypt also expressed his sincere condolences to the leadership, government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and wished the injured speed recovery.
