Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman inspects Air Defense Units and shares an Iftar Banquet with them


Najran-Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense presided a military meeting on Wednesday, during which he checked on military operations and the readiness of military forces in the area of Najran.

Prince Mohammed arrived to the Saudi region from France, where he concluded an official visit during which he met with French President Francois Hollande and many high-ranking officials.

Talks in Paris touched on transformation programs within Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the situation in the region, namely the armed conflicts in Yemen, Syria and Iraq.

The deputy crown prince conducted a familiar visit to the Armed Forces units in the Najran region which is located south of the country along the border with Yemen.

At Najran Airport, the deputy crown prince was received by Prince Juluwi bin Abdulaziz bin Massaeid, the Governor of Najran Region and Chief of the Staff General Abdulrahman Al-Bunayan, as well as senior, civil and military officials.

Prince Mohammed also visited the vanguard Air Defense units, where he attended an Iftar with Saudi soldiers and toured military units. The deputy crown prince concluded his visit by holding a meeting with military officials, with whom he discussed military operations and the readiness of the armed forces in Najran region.
