Saudi Deputy Crown Prince and Emir of Qatar Discuss Developments in the Region | ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive 2005 -2017

During a meeting with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha yesterday, the Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman who is also the Second Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Defence reviewed the latest developments in the region and efforts that are being made to enhance security and stability.

The meeting also addressed relations between the two countries and ways of supporting and developing them in various fields. The Deputy Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz who is also the First Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior to the Emir of Qatar.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Culture and Information Dr Adel Al-Toraifi, the general supervisor of the Defense Minister’s office and adviser at the royal court Fahd Al-Issa, advisers at the royal court Saud Al-Qahtani and Yasir Al-Rumayyan and the Saudi Ambassador to Qatar Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Aifan.

The Deputy Crown Prince arrived in Doha yesterday and was received at Hamad International Airport by the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, the Saudi ambassador to the state of Qatar and members of the Saudi embassy in Doha.
