Riyadh-Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, received a telephone call on Wednesday from British Defense Secretary Michael Fallon.

During the conversation, bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed in addition to the situation in the Middle East.

Also Wednesday, the Deputy Crown Prince met with Chairman of General Electric Company Jeffrey Immelt.

During the meeting, they reviewed an existing strategic partnership in accordance with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

They discussed GE’s continuous investments in the Kingdom which included the expansion of the GE factory for Turbine Industry.

They also underscored the importance of developing human, innovative and research capabilities as well as transferring technology and digital transformation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in addition to working on exporting industries from the Kingdom.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi.

The Deputy Crown Prince also received Commander of U.S. Missile Defense Agency Vice Admiral James D. Syring.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest. The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials.
