Riyadh – Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, second deputy premier and minister of defense, discussed issues of common interest with Mauritanian Minister of Defense Diallo Mamadou Bhatia.

During the meeting, they also discussed means of enhancing bilateral military cooperation.

The meeting was attended by Chief of General Staff Abdul Rahman al-Bonyan, Supervisor of the office of the Defense Minister Fahd al-Issa, Mauritanian Chief of Staff Mohammed al-Ghazwani and Mauritanian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Mahmoud Ould Mohammed al-Amin.

In addition, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Council of Economic and Development Affairs held a meeting at al-Yamamah Palace.

The council reviewed a number of issues, notably the offer for the governance of the international strategic partnership office.

It also tackled the main challenges and strategic goals related to economic and development affairs and took the necessary recommendations.
