Jeddah–Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Wednesday, dean of the diplomatic corps Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to the Kingdom Dya-Eddin Said Bamakhrama.

The King also received heads of diplomatic groups accredited to the Kingdom including: Head of African Group and Ambassador of Chad Sougour Youssouf Itno; Head of Arab Group and Ambassador of Sudan Abdul Hafez Ibrahim Mohammed; Head of South American Group and Ambassador of Argentina Sergio Cerda; Head of Asian Group and Ambassador of Uzbekistan Kadirov Alisher Kadirovich; Head of European Group and Ambassador of Russia Oleg Ozerov and Head of Oceania Group Ambassador of Australia Ralph King.

The Ambassadors conveyed to King Salman the greetings and congratulations of the leaders of Arab, Islamic and friendly countries on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his thanks to everyone on the congratulations on the holy month, praying to Allah Almighty for the returns of this holy month to Islamic and Arab states with welfare and blessings.

King Salman also received on Wednesday, June 16, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani. Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nizar bin Obaid Madani also attended the meeting, during which a number of issues related to the GCC joint action were reviewed.

Al-Zayani congratulated the King on the holy month of Ramadan.
