Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives President of Republic of Guinea-Conakry and President of the African Union (SPA)


Riyadh- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz has received at al-Yamamah Palace President Alpha Conde of Republic of Guinea-Conakry and President of the African Union.

The King welcomed the Guinean President who expressed his happiness to visit the Kingdom and meet with the King.

They held a session of official talks during which they reviewed prospects for cooperation in various fields, and the latest developments and ways for enhancing security and stability in the region and Africa.

The session was attended by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet’s Member and Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Musaed bin Mohammed al-Aiban, Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz al-Assaf, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen al-Fadhli, Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Jadaan, and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nizar bin Obaid Madani.

Also Wednesday, King Salman received a message from President Ismail Omar Guelleh of the Republic of Djibouti, which was handed over to the King by Djibouti’s Minister of Defense Ali Hasan Bahdon.

The Minister conveyed to the King the greetings of the President of the Republic of Djibouti, while the King sent his greetings to the President.

The audience was attended by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz al-Assaf; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nizar bin Obaid Madani and Djiboutian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ziauddin Bamakhrama.

Later, the Custodian received an invitation from President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the first summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Science and Technology in Astana.

The invitation was delivered by Kazakhstan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Khairat Abdul Rahmanov during a meeting with the King at al-Yamamah Palace.

The Minister conveyed to the King the greetings of Kazakhstan’s President, while the King sent his greetings to the President.

The audience was attended by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz al-Assaf, and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nizar bin Obaid Madani.
