Makkah- Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz visited on Sunday, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, security forces personnel who were injured while carrying out the operation to thwart a planned terrorist attack targeting the Grand Mosque.

Crown Prince Mohammed paid a visit to the security forces hospital in Makkah, where the injured servicemen are being treated.

During the visit, the Crown Prince assured that he takes pride in the sacrifices made by security men and their courage in maintaining the security of the Two Holy Mosques.

For their part, the wounded and their colleagues assured that they are honored to uphold national security of the Holy Lands and their continued vigilance and sacrifice to protect the Holy Mosque from the plans of terrorists aiming to disrupt its security.

The Crown Prince was accompanied by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, Commander of Special Emergency Forces, Lieutenant General Khalid Bin Qarar Al-Harbi and a number of officials.

Earlier that day, Crown Prince Mohammed after joining Eid Al-Fitr prayer received a number of army officials who came to greet his highness on the occasion.

During the audience, the Crown Prince conveyed to them the greetings and congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Supreme Commander of Armed Forces on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr.

Among the officials were Assistant Minister of Defense Mohammed Al-Ayesh, Chief of General Staff, General Abdulrahman Al-Bunyan, Advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the Defense Minister’s Office Fahd Al-Issa, Chairman of Special Affairs of Defense Minister’s Office Khalid Al-Rayes, and commanders of branches of armed forces.
