Crown Prince receives an invitation from Japanese Prime Minister to visit Empire of Japan (SPA)


Jeddah – Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, received today an invitation from the Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to visit Japan.

During a reception at Al-Salam palace, the Crown Prince received Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom Norihiro Okuda, who handed over the invitation to the Prince. They also discussed, during the reception, bilateral relations and ways to promote them, in addition to regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The audience was attended by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nizar Madani, Deputy Director General of the General Investigation General Abdullah Ali al-Qarni and the Special Secretary at the Crown Prince office Ahmed Saleh Ajlan.

The Crown Prince also received at al-Salam palace Ambassador of France to the Kingdom Francois Goite. During the meeting, a number of issues of common concern were discussed.

In addition, the Crown Prince Mohammed received a verbal message from the Russian leadership which was conveyed by the Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom Sergei Kozlov. They also discussed bilateral relations and ways to promote them on all levels.

In other news, the Crown Prince is patronizing on Wednesday the General Directorate of Civil Defense graduation ceremony civil defense personnel participating in the military and technical preparation course on civil defense tasks.

The Director General of Civil Defense, Lieutenant General Sulaiman al-Amro expressed his thanks and appreciations to the Crown Prince for attending this ceremony. He praised the Prince’s efforts in supporting the civil defense to defend the country and thwart whatever is threatening its security.

The Director General stated that the graduation is a celebration of the high level of training of civil defense with a large number of centers and institutions. He added that civil defense has a large number of highly qualified trainers who establish plans and training programs to meet the needs of the units and field teams.

Crown Prince will also patronize graduation ceremony of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) in Riyadh.

President of the NAUSS Jamaan Rashid ben Ragosh lauded the sponsorship of Crown Prince, adding that the university has generously received moral and financial support from the Saudi leadership.

Ragosh added that despite his busy schedule, the crown Prince always takes care of the tiniest details of the university. He reiterated that the university continues its efforts to meet the needs of Arab security in all fields.

He stated that the scientific programs of the university are always edited and reviewed to reach the goals to which they were intended. He added that there are 185 scientific memoranda of agreement because NAUSS believes exchanging knowledge will enrich its experience.

NAUSS managed to thwart several security problems that modern societies are suffering from and succeeded in attaining goals in several areas like human trafficking, human rights, nuclear security and media security, according to Ragosh.

NAUSS president concluded his speech by congratulating the graduates and wishing them best of luck in the field of work.
