Jeddah – Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, deputy premier and minister of interior, ordered the adoption of the Ramadan Project, which is prepared by the Saudi National Campaign to Support Syrian People.

The Crown Prince is also General Supervisor of Saudi Relief Campaigns.

This project consists of distributing baskets to Syrian refugees in neighboring countries and Syrians inside Syria to meet their needs during the holy fasting month of Ramadan.

Regional Director of the Saudi National Campaign to Support Syrian People, Badr bin Abdulrahman al-Samhan said that, as a first step, the offices of the Saudi National Campaign allocated 10,000 Ramadan food baskets to the campaign’s Jordan office, 10,000 for the Lebanese office and 300,000 for the Turkey office.

Samhan stressed that Saudi Arabia is keen to support the brotherly people of Syria and provide them with the relief aid, especially during Ramadan.
