Saudi Arabia confirmed its supports to all Bahraini judicial actions to combat extremism and terrorism in all forms and manifestations, assuring its backing and solidarity to all actions already taken.

For instance, an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to all judicial actions taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain, to fight extremism and terrorism, including the decisions that have been announced against associations and organizations, causing sectarianism and factionalism.

The source confirmed the Kingdom’s standing by the side of the of Bahrain, in its actions taken to preserve security, stability and safety of its citizens and to safeguard unity and the social fabric.

For instance, a Bahraini court announced on Tuesday, June 18, a verdict to shutdown al-Wefaq headquarter, and freeze all its activities and take control of all its funds.

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General, Abdul Latif Bin Rashid Al Zayan, stressed on the Council’s support to all actions taken by the Kingdom towards associations and organizations that consistently commit practices against the laws, and ones that provoke sedition and violence .
