Riyadh-The first Saudi female rally driver has successfully completed a three-day training session in preparation for the BMW Formula race.

The training took place at the Bahrain International Car Race Arena and was sponsored by the BMW Center for Professional Drivers. The Saudi driver, Amal, underwent rigorous training sessions, supervised by professionals. She learned how to drive the BMW F2 race car, which has a single seat. She also received theoretical and practical lessons about all aspects of a Formula race.

The team that trained in Bahrain hailed from Oman , the Emirates, Saudi Arabia , and Lebanon . Amal, aged 20, is the first Arab woman to join the driving school. She received a certificate for her participation and her excellent skills. Amal hopes to become a role model for other Arab women who are interested in taking part in rally driving.
