Jeddah, Asharq Al-Awsat – The Saudi Royal Court announced on Saturday that Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Saud al-Faisal, had undergone a minor operation to relieve an intestinal obstruction and that he was in stable condition. The Saudi Royal Court issued the following statement:

Prince Saud al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister, suffered a minor blockage in the intestines because of adhesions due to a previous surgery. He underwent a minor surgery to break the adhesions. The surgery was successful. He is in stable condition, thanks to Almighty Allah.’
