Prince Faisal Bin Salman to Inaugurate New ‘Insan Society’ Branch | ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive 2005 -2017

Riyadh, Asharq Al-Awsat- HRH Prince Faisal Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, head of the Executive Committee of Insan Society for Orphans’ Welfare will inaugurate a new branch of the charity endowment this Saturday, 22 March, in the Aflaj district in Riyadh.

The ceremony will be held in Riyadh’s Al-Mutlaq hotel and will be attended by a number of governmental dignitaries and officials.

Insan’s Board of Directors, chaired by Governor of Riyadh Prince Salman Abdulaziz, has approved the decision to open two branches in al Zalfa and Ad Dawadimi governorates, in addition the to the branch in al Aflaj.

General Manager of the society, Saleh Bin Abdullah Yousef, stated that from its inception Insan Society for Orphans’ Welfare has been dedicated to providing its services to all orphans in need and has formulated a 10-year plan for expansion in several governorates in Riyadh. The charitable institution opened its first branch in al Kharj governorate in 2005.

Yousef added that the inauguration ceremony is aimed at raising awareness about Insan Society’s role and its goals in terms of serving orphans in the Riyadh region, which includes the aforementioned governorates. The inauguration ceremony will also include the screening of a documentary film and speeches.

The general manager of Insan has called upon philanthropists to support the new branch in Al-Aflaj which will contribute to caring for orphans in the area through educational, social and recreational programs, training courses and employment, in addition to providing monetary assistance. Insan’s goal is to help orphans whilst preserving their dignity and honor so that they may become constructive and active members of society.
