The Libyan National Army Spokesman Ahmed Al- Mismari said on Thursday that Qatar single-handedly “destroyed the Arab region and that there is no hope for reconciliation.”

According to a briefing released by the “Alhadath” Arabic online news platform, Mismari asserted that Doha backs a number of terrorist groups in Libya and that Palestine’s “Hamas” is also involved in the war-torn African state.

Mismari also revealed documents proving the presence of Qatari military forces in Libya, particularly in Tripoli, pointing out that Doha was involved in multiple accounts of assassinations.

Libya’s National Army stressed that Qatar supports corruption and terrorism in Northwest Africa, threatening to resort to the International Criminal Court to hold Doha to account for its transgressions.

For his part, Mismari demanded the Libyan House of Representatives annuls contracts made with oil companies owned or associated with Qatar.
