Riyadh-Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Yamamah Palace on Tuesday Iraqi Parliament Speaker Dr. Salim bin Abdullah Al-Jubouri and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and aspects of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

The reception was attended by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense; Speaker of Shura Council Sheikh Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh; Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi; Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir; and Saudi Ambassador to Iraq Thamer bin Sabhan Al-Sabhan.

The audience was also attended by members of the Iraqi Parliament, Abboud al-Issawi, Alaa al-Talabani, and Nada Antar.

Later that day, HRH King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a telephone call from the Sudanese President Omer Hassan Al-Basher.

During the conversation, the Sudanese President congratulated the Saudi Monarch on the successful maneuvers of the North Thunder Exercise, which he described as a great and unprecedented act.

For his part, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques thanked the Sudanese President for his comments, saying that the act was to serve Islam and Muslims. HRH expressed his pleasure for Sudan’s participation, in the exercise, which asserted the cooperation between the two countries.

King Salman underscored the significance of the permanence of this cooperation.

On the other hand, the Sudanese president said that victories achieved, in Yemen, have pleased everyone; concluding by wishing restoration of security and stability to Yemen.
