Riyadh- King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aids Center has recently distributed 4,000 food baskets in Al Wazi’iyah District at Taiz Governorate through the Humanitarian Aid Coalition and its partners from associations and institutions. The food baskets were distributed in the Directorate within the “distribution of 100,000 food baskets” project; while the rest of food baskets will be distributed to other directorates in the Governorate in the coming days.
The food baskets will be distributed to 23 directorates across Yemen.
This distribution comes within the executive programs offered by King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aids Center under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and under the supervision of Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, Advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the Center.
From his part, Dr Shawki Abdelilah al-Sharajabi, head of Yemen’s Ma’rib General Hospital Authority, noted that the humanitarian and medical aids provided by King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aids had an impact in saving lives and alleviating the sufferings of the sick and wounded.
Al-Sharajbi added in a letter addressed to Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, Adviser at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aids Center, saying that the authority at Ma’rib’s General Hospital has received equipment and medicines sent by King Salman Center for the purpose of initializing and operating the authority, which is consisted of 11 locomotives.
He added: “In this regard, we reiterate our appreciation and gratitude for your efforts toward your brothers in the Republic of Yemen in all fields of relief,
especially in the medical side for its great impact in saving lives and easing the suffering of the sick and wounded”.
