King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Turkish President Erdoğan Discuss Regional Developments

Riyadh- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan discussed, over a phone call that took place on Wednesday Feb.17, recent developments both on regional and international spheres.

His Highness King Salman bin Abdulaziz and President Erdoğan also discussed bilateral relationships between the two countries and how they could be supported and reinforced om different levels.

His Highness King Salman, on Wednesday at his office in Al Yamamah Palace, also received former U.S. Secretary Madeleine Albright. Several topics were discussed in the meeting.

On the other hand, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on Feb.18 also met Rehman Chishti British Conservative MP along with several other Parliament members. The meeting was attended by chairman of the Consultative Assembly (Majlis ash-Shura) of Saudi Arabia Abdullah ibn Muhammad Al ash-Sheikh, Prince Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah bin Mohamed Consultative Assembly member and chairman to the Saudi-British Parliamentary Friendship Committee, and British Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Simon Collis.

The meeting conferred on friendship ties between Saudi Arabia and Britain, and the outlook on parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

Dr. Musaid Al Aiban Minister of State and member of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Culture and Information of Saudi Arabia Dr. Adel Al Toraifi, and Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir all attended both meetings.
