RIYADH-the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz is in stable condition and doctors” reports are reassuring, foreign minister Prince Saud al-Faisal said on Saturday.
"Thank God, his condition is stable and the doctors are reassuring about the subject. We all pray for his speedy recovery, God willing," the Saudi Foreign Minister told a news conference in Riyadh.
An official source also reaffirmed that the King is doing well and the medical tests, he is undergoing, are proceeding in a normal way.
He also denied what have been circulated by some news agencies and used by some ”biased and ill-intentioned” TV stations that the Kingdom had announced an emergency situation and cancelled vacations of personnel of the security forces.
He deplored the stance of these TV stations which are looking for what they think could affect the internal situation in the Kingdom that is strong, normal and stable in all its aspects.
