JERUSALEM,(Reuters) – An Israeli soldier was shot and wounded by a Palestinian gunman on Monday at a West Bank checkpoint, a military source and Israeli Radio said.

The shooting occurred at Qalandiya checkpoint outside the West Bank town of Ramallah, the source said. A rescue service said the injury was minor.
