JERUSALEM (Reuters) – A 50-year-old Israeli woman died on Wednesday of injuries from a Palestinian suicide bombing in central Israel, raising the death toll from Tuesday”s attack to four, the hospital said.

The other dead were two teenage girls and a woman aged 31 in what was the first suicide bombing in the Jewish state since February. At least 30 people were wounded in the attack on the coastal city of Netanya.

Israel launched a raid into the West Bank city of Tulkarm on Wednesday, shooting dead a Palestinian policeman in an offensive against the Islamic Jihad group which claimed the bombing. Jihad has distanced itself from a truce agreed by Israel and the Palestinians in February.
