El-Arish, Egypt-Hundreds of protesters took to the streets to denounce terrorism on Sunday, more than a week after deadly bombings struck the Red Sea resort of Sharm-Al-Sheikh.

&#34No, no to terrorism,&#34 read a banner held by the demonstrators, who included religious clerics, local officials and parliament members. &#34Yes to security and stability,&#34 declared another.

The crowd gathered outside the headquarters of the ruling National Democratic Party, preparing to march in el-Arish under the watchful eyes of police who have spread out in the city, The Associated Press reported.

On July 23, three blasts hit Sharm-Al-Sheikh. The official death toll stands at 64.
