Riyadh-Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz arrived on Wednesday to Hafr Al-Batin to patronize the final maneuver of the “North Thunder”, aimed at ensuring the combat-readiness of the Kingdom and its allies.

Upon his arrival, HRH listened to explanation on the general outline project of King Saud Airbase in the Eastern Sector. HRH also watched a documentary about the project’s designs and facilities.

Then, the King pressed the button and laid the foundation stone for the construction project of King Saud Airbase, and HRH signed the commemorative plaque of the project.

When he arrived from Riyadh, King Salman was welcomed at King Saud Air Base Airport by Eastern Province Gov. Prince Saud bin Nayef; Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, second deputy premier and Minister of Defense; and Assistant for the Minister of Defense, Mohammed Al-Ayesh.

Others at the airport included Chief of Staff Gen. Abdulrahman Al-Bunyan, the commanders of the branches of the armed forces, senior officers in the defense ministry, and several officials and citizens.

HRH was accompanied by Prince Abdul Elah bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Khalid bin Fahd bin Khalid; Prince Mansour bin Saud bin Abdulaziz; Prince Talal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz; Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Dr Mansour bin Mutaib bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet’s Member and Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Mutaib bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; Prince Fahd bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed; Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, governor of Northern Borders; Prince Dr Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz; Prince Dr Abdulaziz bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz; Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz; Prince Saud bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Prince Abdul Majid bin Abdul Elah bin Abdulaziz; and Prince Rakan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The Saudi King arrived with the Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Dr Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Finance, Dr Ibrahim AL-Assaf; Minister of Culture and Information Dr Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi; Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeea, Advisor at Crown Prince Court; Khalid Al-Abbad, Chief of Royal Protocol; Hazim Zagzoug, Head of the king’s private affairs; Fahd Al-Askar, Assistant Chief of Royal Court for Executive Affairs and Deputy Special Secretary to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; General Hamad al Ohali, President of the Royal Guard; and Tamim Al-Salem, Assistant Special Secretary to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Following the show, King Salman headed towards King Saud Airbase Airport Square, where he was seen off by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh; Prince Abdullah bin Musaed bin Abdulrahman; Prince Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz; and a number of princes, scholars, ministers, and military officials.
