Aden – On the occasion of the 27th anniversary of Yemen’s union May 22, Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi said that he would not allow the country to be divided into states just to fulfill “suspicious interests of this leader or that faction”.

Hadi added during a speech to mark the occasion: “Our faith is renewed every day that the Yemeni people, who are united by land, culture, civilization, history and identity will win against the sick selves and protect their county.”

“Conspirators do not make history, and even if they did, they soon vanish,” Hadi continued.

The president affirmed that Yemen is committed to fighting against the “Iranian project”.

“The huge victory is imminent and we will soon defeat the Persian dream of transforming Yemen into a base that threatens the Arab and world countries,” he declared.

“Celebrating this occasion will remain an embodiment of the dream that the Yemeni nation has made sacrifices for,” he said, while adding that “some have manipulated with this dream and transformed it into a nightmare with their selfishness and hatred.”

The president stressed that Yemeni unity is the choice of Yemeni people.

“Yemenis have chosen the federal country since it is an ideal solution to correct the track and maintain the nation’s unity after all the chaos caused by selfish policies and developments,” he added.

The president stressed that the “evil force” has declared war on the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference although it participated in it.
