Beirut- Gulf ambassador to Lebanon told Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper that the decision on Gulf countries confronting Hezbollah is of a strategic nature. The decision will be implemented within the framework of fighting the Iranian regional project on expanding its dominance. The ambassador revealed that the decision was taken by officials of a senior level in the Gulf.

Lebanese sources predicted the deportation of Lebanese people in large numbers for their affiliation and, or sympathy with the Lebanon-based Hezbollah terrorist party led by Hassan Nasrallah.

A fragment of those banished are well-known practicing politicians in the Lebanese political arena. Others deported are businessmen and corporate chairs.

A Christian March 14 Lebanese MP had received a direct warning from a senior Gulf official to stop endorsing Hezbollah and to keep distant from the party. Should the MP carry on with defending Hezbollah, he would join the Lebanese citizens packing to leave Gulf countries under the laws of exile. Deported names have been exposed for political affiliation and attachment to Hezbollah.

The MP said that Chairman of the Progressive Socialist Party MP Walid Jumblatt, during his recent visit to Kuwait, inquired Emir of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on procedures Kuwait and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries are taking against Lebanese people residing in the Gulf.

Most of the measures taken by Gulf countries face only those who have toyed with the Lebanon-Gulf relationship – which has long shared by the people- and those who stage terrorist activities and actions compromising security. Those facing deportation have been exposed for affiliation with officially classified terrorist groups.

Lebanese MP Marwan Hamadeh told Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper that the ongoing show of exploitations starring Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, directed by Iranian dominance and executed by Hezbollah and allies – featuring Bassil- carries on with its political wrongdoing.

Bassil had not stopped at abstaining from the Arab consensus at the League of Arab States (LAS) on condemning Iran for the premeditated arson set-off in the Saudi embassy and consulate in Tehran and Mashhad respectively, instead he carried on with hampering the Lebanese-international affairs by refusing to receive U.N. Secretary-General Ban Kimoon.
