Lille, France – French police detained two men for questioning on Tuesday in connection with last year”s bombings in Madrid that killed 191 people and injured close to 2,000, a police official said.

The father and son were stopped by the DST domestic intelligence agency at Wervicq-Sud in northern France close to the Belgian border, and taken to Lille for questioning, Reuters reported.
