Kuwait city,A former Guantanamo Bay inmate was acquitted of all terror-related charges in a Kuwaiti court Wednesday, The Associated Press reported.

Nasser al-Mutairi, 27, spent nearly three years at the U.S. detention camp in Cuba and was released in January, only to face trial at home.

A Muslim extremist, al-Mutairi was on trial for joining foreign military forces without permission, harming Kuwait by serving the interest of a &#34foreign country&#34 and undergoing illegal weapons training.

He was acquitted of all three charges in a Kuwaiti court

Wednesday.
