LONDON (Reuters) – A fifth Briton has been confirmed dead following the bombings at the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, the Foreign Office said on Tuesday.

The unnamed victim takes the number of Britons killed in the attacks on July 22 to five. At least 64 people, mostly Egyptians, died in the three blasts which ripped though hotels and shopping areas.

A Foreign Office spokeswoman said another five Britons were still missing and were also likely to have been killed.

The attacks, which also injured about 200 people, were the worst in Egypt since 1981.
