BEIRUT, Lebanon, (AP) -An explosion rocked Beirut’s waterfront Wednesday, causing casualties, damage and fires, police and witnesses said. Security officials said four people were killed, and 10 wounded.

A bloodied woman was seen being pulled away from the scene by residents.

A car was on fire where the blast occurred in the Manner neighborhood near two popular beaches.

The explosion was the latest in a series to hit Lebanon in the last three weeks as its troops battled Islamic militants in a Palestinian refugee camp in the northern part of the country.
