Damam – Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jabir Al Sabah and his accompanying delegation left Oman on Wednesday after a three-day state visit to the country.

Prior to his departure, the Emir of Kuwait thanked Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Omani government and people for the warm reception and generous hospitality extended to him and his delegation during the visit.

The emir of Kuwait on Monday held talks with Sultan Qaboos bin Said to ease tension between Iran and Arab Gulf countries.

The two leaders discussed ways to bridge the gap between Iran and Saudi Arabia so that the two feuding countries could find a common ground to work for a feasible and permanent solution.

Oman News Agency earlier pointed out that Sultan Qaboos and Emir of Kuwait have firm belief in peace and the need to solve all disputes through peaceful means, constructive dialogue and abidance by international rules.

“These international rules include good neighboring, cooperation to achieve common and reciprocal interests and noninterference in the domestic affairs of other countries under any circumstances or any reasons.”

Both leaders believe that this approach will help the states and peoples of the region in building their present and future by the way they deem appropriate for them and with their own free will.
