The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued 12 royal decrees yesterday in which Dr Azzam bin Mohammad Al Dakheel was relieved of his position as minister of education at his request and Dr. Ahmed Al-Isa was appointed in his place. Likewise, Dr Saleh bin Abdul Rahman Al-Shuhaib was relieved of his position as deputy minister of civil service at his request and Abdullah Malfi was appointed in his place.

Dr. Tawfiq Al-Sudairi was appointed as deputy minister of Islamic affairs, endowments, call and guidance for mosques and endowment affairs whilst Dr Ahmed Al-Fuhaid was appointed as governor of Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC). Dr Rumaih Al-Rumaih was appointed as general president of the Saudi Railways Organization (SRO), and three new members of the Saudi Arabian Consultative Assembly were also appointed.

Royal decrees also appointed Dr Jamaan bin Raqoosh as president of the Prince Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and Fahd Bin Hadyan as adviser to the Ministry of Interior. Muhammad Al-Ameel was appointed as secretary general for the General Committee of the Council of Ministers. Another royal order appointed Saud Al-Qahtani and Dr. Azzam Al-Dakheel as advisers to the royal court with the rank of ministers.

All decrees issued abide by the Basic Law of Governance in Saudi Arabia and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman called for the decrees to be adopted and implemented.
