LONDON (AP) – Britain’s Foreign Office says inquest hearings will be held to determine the cause of death of two hostages found dead in Iraq.

Jason Creswell, from Scotland, and Jason Swindlehurst, from northwestern England, were among five British men abducted in Baghdad in May 2007.

The Foreign Office says the bodies of the men were flown from Iraq to a Royal Air Force base in southern England on Friday. Their families were present, the ministry said.

Both men worked for Canadian security firm GardaWorld. They were kidnapped with information technology consultant Peter Moore and two other bodyguards, identified only as Alan and Alec.

British and Iraqi officials say they are attempting to win the release of the remaining hostages.
