Kuwait-United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon briefed on Sunday his Highness Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the latest developments in the negotiations carried out by the Yemeni sides to reach a political solution and end the conflict peacefully.

His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, were also present at the meeting that took place on Sunday at Seif palace.

The two sides also discussed the latest regional and international developments.

His Highness the Emir, during his reception of the U.N. chief, decorated Ban with Kuwait Order of Excellence as a token of appreciation for his efforts to promote peace all over the world.
