Damascus- Discussions about the end of the “Nakba” in Yarmouk refugee camp and the neighborhoods of south Damascus have been resumed amid the silence of Syrian regime on the details and the date of the implementation of the “reconciliation agreement.”

Meanwhile, it was reported that ISIS will give the region to the Syrian regime after liquefying the disobedient people just like what it did in a number of other areas.

A few days ago, ISIS issued a statement on Facebook calling civilians who want to leave with the organization’s gunmen from southern Damascus to areas under its control in northern and eastern Syria to register their names in centers opened in areas south of the capital.

Local sources told Asharq Al-Awsat that ISIS has distributed banners in areas under its control at a time when batches of wounded members from Tahrir al-Sham Organization, which includes several factions like Fath al-Sham, have left Yarmouk during the last two months in the framework of the “four towns” deal.

The sources interested in the Yarmouk case seemed to be certain that “work is being done effectively to end the case of south Damascus.”

Some sources said that the leaving process is likely to start any moment. This was affirmed as sources from the region told Asharq Al-Awsat that the leaders of ISIS and its elements are selling their property in preparation for their departure.

After the news spread about an agreement between the regime and ISIS to end the case of south Damascus on social media and sites close to the regime and over several days, the news stopped suddenly and things seemed to be done secretly and without any announcements.

There was only a statement by Minister of Reconciliation Ali Haider in which he said that work to end the armed presence in the camp «has made a great progress in reviving the agreement reached previously to remove the militants from the camp where the state is working to facilitate their exit by all means possible and return the people of the camp back to their homes.
