London- JK Rowling has marked an exceptional popularity as if it had a magical touch and turns everything she touches into gold. “Harry Potter and the cursed child” play have witnessed a remarkable attendance and fans were fighting to buy a ticket that may suddenly appear in the market.

The Sotheby’s Publishers in London announced it sold a unique version of “The Tales of Beedle the Bard” written as an addition to Harry Potter in a public auction for £368,750 to an anonymous buyer through the phone. The book is a jeweled manuscript written by JK Rowling and makes one of only seven copies issued by the author.

The copy sold by Sotheby’s in London was made for publisher Barry Cunningham, who was working at Bloomsbury when he decided to publish the first Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

The book was delivered to Cunningham in an envelope in 12 December 2007; when he opened the envelope, he found a jeweled book wrapped in a piece of fabric. Rowling notes at the end of the volume are “traditionally associated with love, balance and joy in daily life”. It is worth noting that the fabric and the envelope were also sold during the auction.

According to Sotheby’s, Rowling dedicated the seven versions to the most important people in her life; a version sold in 2007 to launch the Lumos Charity Foundation established by the writer was sold for £1.95 million.
