London- Prince George made headlines last week while joining his parents Prince William and Kate Middleton on their trip to Poland and Germany, where he showed a clear discontentment from protocols, as showed the pictures taken by famous journalists. Yet, at the end of the trip, a surprise prepared by Prince William drew a smile on his face and compensated the boredom he saw at the beginning of the trip.

The four-year-old prince had the chance to ride a helicopter with his father, his mother and sister Princess Charlotte. The prince seemed obviously happy in the plane, especially that he adores helicopters. This trip was Prince William’s surprise for his son on his birthday.

Prince William and his wife Kate revealed a new official picture for their son to announce the celebration of his birthday.

Kensington Palace said on Twitter: “The Duke and Duchess are pleased to reveal the new official picture for their son Prince George on his highness’s fourth birthday.”

Then royal photographer Chris Jackson took a picture for the prince wearing a collar-less shirt striped in blue in white.

Jackson wrote on Twitter: “I’m honoured that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen to release this portrait I took to celebrate Prince George’s 4th Birthday.”

Kensington Palace told the German News Agency in London that Prince George, the third royal heir, is supposed to celebrate privately with his family.

Last week, Prince William told the press that he expects his son to finish his birthday cake without sharing.
