London- Palestinian elderly Abdel-Qader Abu Ajameyah dropped out of school more than six decades ago to make a living.

But Abu Ajameyah has resumed his academic journey by attending classes and sitting for exams. The elderly has shown a strong will in his second attempt to undergo high school exams, after failing last year.

On Monday, the 81-year-old took the Arabic language exam at “Al-Hussein School” in the West Bank city of Hebron. He looked confident with high morals and a smile on his face.

“It took me long hours to study, I made much efforts, and I am ready to go for my exams,” local news outlets quoted the elderly as saying before the exam.

Abu Ajameyah has to sit for other exams in the English language, history, Islamic culture, geography, and technology. He plans to go to the university and earn a BA in political science and economy.
