The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Graced the Grand Annual Horse Race in Janadriyah

RIYADH –The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz sponsored the Grand Annual Horse Race and awarded the King Abdulaziz Cup to Prince Miteb Bin Abdullah, after horse Kafilah won the race at King Abdulaziz Horse Race Course on Feb.27.

Upon arrival to the venue, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, accompanied by Prince Saud bin Salman and Prince Faisal bin Ahmed bin Salman, was received by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of the National Guard and Chairman of Equestrian’s Club, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz and other princes.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques then visited the exhibition of Kings and Horsemanship, held to commemorate the occasion, where he viewed a number of pictures portraying King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, the Founder King and succeeding Kings of his children, displaying fondness for horsemanship.

Following the 10th game, on the Trophy of King Abdulaziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz granted the cup to the winner from the stables of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. Following the National Anthem, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques left the venue, where he received a farewell ovation similar to the heartfelt welcoming his Highness received upon his arrival to the venue.
