Riyadh – Prince Faisal bin Salman of Medina has expressed his deep gratitude and respect for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz for shouldering the renovation of a number of historic mosques in Medina.

Prince Faisal has considered that the support and care provided by His Majesty the King to protect historical sites has contributed in reviving many of Islamic historical features in different regions, including old mosques, which received remarkable attention and special care from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Prince of Medina added that the support significantly improved the image of historic mosques related to the biography of the Prophet (SAW) and which carried rich Islamic heritage across different historical phases.

Prince Faisal has pointed that the program of renovating historic mosques adopted by the Kingdom maintains the path of protecting religious sites since the era of the Founder King Abdulaziz and his sons.

It’s worth mentioning that Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, head of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTNH) has announced that Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has adopted a plan to renovate a number of historic mosques in Medina and other regions in Saudi Arabia; His Highness also revealed the launch of a fund for renovation of historic mosques in Medina that will allow every citizen to participate in the process.
